REGISTRATION DATES AND TIMES:

• LATE REGISTRATION - Saturday , July 10th, 2010 from 9am to 12 noon
• Location of registration will be at the Butler Area Midget Football League annex located in
  Butler Memorial Park, City of Butler, PA.
• All participants must register prior to August 9, 2010.
• Cost of registration is $80.00 for 9 year olds and up. The fee for 7-8 year olds is $60.00. The 7-8 year olds will be a part of a NEW flag football league being introduced this year. (See the News window above for more details about this new league) Registration for everyone includes three $10 league discount tickets; which you may sell and keep the money or take advantage of the discounts yourself.
• A discount for registration will be available for multiple siblings.

PHYSICALS

• No physicals will be available for the July 11th sign-up. Players must have their physicals turned or they will not be issued equipment.
• If you choose to use your family physician, you must have a physical before the equipment distribution date. Players are NOT permitted to participate in league events without a properly executed physical form.
• Other options available are to have the physical performed at the new BHS FastERcare in the Butler Commons for a fee of $20. The tentative opening date for this new center is June 1st, 2010 . Again, the physical must be complete before equipment is passed out.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

• AGE - Any player who has reached or will reach their 7th birthday during the current playing year will be eligible to play while those who have or will reach their 15th birthday during the current playing year will not be permitted to participate in the BAMFL.
• GRADE - A player cannot be in a grade higher than 8th to participate in the BAMFL and must reside in the Butler Area School District.
• BIRTH CERTIFICATE - A birth certificate or a birth record must be presented to the BAMFL for any player in 8th grade , any new player or any player turning 7 during the playing year.
• WEIGHT - The weight limit is 150lbs. All participants will be weighed at registration. Those at or above 150lbs will NOT receive equipment until they are under 150lbs. In addition, that player will not be able to participate in league-sponsored activities including practices and games. If a player cannot make the weight limit by the 2nd regular season game, that player will be ineligible to participate in the BAMFL for the remainder of the season.
• PARTICIPATION - No player can participate in league-sponsored activities in the BAMFL and any other league or school team simultaneously.

PRACTICES

• The first day of practice is Monday, August 9, 2010. Please check the head coach of your team for designated practice locations and times.
